ChromeCacheView is a small and simple utility that fetches the cache content from your Google Chrome browser. This is extremely useful for people who need to retrieve certain data from websites they have visited and have no typical solution for that (like downloading). An example of such a situation is when there’s an audio file playing through a Flash Player and there’s no way to download the MP3. In this case, the song is saved in your browser’s cache folder and this utility can find it.
When you first use this application, you might be confused when you right click a file from the list and click “Save Selected Items”. That will not save the file itself, but a TXT document containing details about that object. Even though, this can be misleading, all is forgiven because everything else is crystal clear. Objects are extracted very fast from your cache files, all their details are displayed, you can search for what you want, create reports etc.
